1. Our service

We provide a free service that reads your uploaded electricity bill, generates a personalised energy report, and connects you with solar and battery installers and other partners. The service is provided free of charge to you; we may be paid referral or lead fees by installers and third parties.

2. Not professional advice

Your report contains estimates and general information only. It is not financial, legal, tax, engineering or professional advice, and figures (including savings, costs, projections and system sizing) are indicative and not guaranteed. You should obtain independent advice and your own quotes before making any decision.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must be 18 or over and provide accurate, current information;
• You confirm you are the account holder for the bill you upload, or are authorised to upload it and to share its contents;
• You must not misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our service.

4. Your data and consent

By using our service you agree to our Privacy Policy, including that we may share and sell your personal information to installers and other third parties, transfer it if our business is sold, and use it (and allow third parties to use it) for marketing. You can opt out of our marketing at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Installers and third parties

We are not a solar installer and do not provide installation, products or financing. Any installer or third party you deal with is independent of us. We are not responsible for their conduct, quotes, advice, products, workmanship, or any agreement you enter into with them, and we are not a party to any such agreement. You deal with them at your own discretion.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its content and the Upload Your Bill brand are owned by us or our licensors. Your report is provided for your personal use. You retain ownership of the bill and information you upload, and grant us the rights described in our Privacy Policy to use, disclose and sell it.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Our service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, your report, or your dealings with installers or third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

9. Termination and changes

We may suspend, withdraw or change the service, or update these Terms, at any time. The current version will always be available on this page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
